- Policy Overview
This Refund & Limited Warranty Policy applies to all purchases made from WEAREFOUND PRODUCTS SDN BHD (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through our official online store.
The EMD100 is a proprietary calibrated environmental electromagnetic field detection instrument. Due to its electronic calibration and diagnostic nature, all sales are final except as expressly provided under this Policy.
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any non-waivable rights under applicable Malaysian law.
- No Change-of-Mind Returns
We do not accept returns or provide refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect expectations
- Misinterpretation of readings
- Environmental measurement variations
- User error
- Third-party interference
- Compatibility assumptions
- Dissatisfaction unrelated to verified manufacturing defects
Customers are responsible for reviewing product specifications and intended use prior to purchase.
- Limited Warranty – 30 Days (Manufacturing Defects Only)
The Company provides a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of confirmed delivery (“Warranty Period”).
This warranty applies only to defects arising from normal, intended, and proper use of the Product.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or improper handling
- Unauthorised modification, tampering, or repair
- Physical damage occurring after delivery
- Improper storage conditions
- Environmental interference affecting readings
- Cosmetic damage not affecting core functionality
- Normal wear and tear.
- Warranty Claim Procedure
If you believe your EMD100 has a manufacturing defect, you must notify the Company within the 30-day Warranty Period.
To initiate a claim, you must provide:
- Order number
- Serial number
- Clear video evidence demonstrating the issue
- Demonstration of proper operating procedure
- All claims are subject to remote technical assessment.
Customers are encouraged to report issues promptly after discovery to facilitate efficient resolution.
Failure to provide sufficient supporting evidence may result in rejection of the claim.
- Inspection Requirement
If remote assessment indicates a potential manufacturing defect, the customer may be required to return the Product for technical inspection.
In such cases:
- The customer shall bear the initial return shipping cost.
- The Product must be securely packaged to prevent transit damage.
- The original serial number label must remain intact.
- All original accessories must be included.
Products showing signs of tampering, unauthorised modification, misuse, or damage inconsistent with manufacturing defect may void warranty eligibility.
- Outcome of Inspection
6.1 If a Manufacturing Defect Is Confirmed
The Company will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the Product; or
- Replace the Product with an equivalent unit; or
- Issue a refund if repair or replacement is not reasonably possible.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed:
Reasonable return shipping costs may be reimbursed upon submission of valid proof of payment.
Reimbursement shall be limited to standard shipping rates.
The Company will bear the shipping cost for sending repaired or replacement units to the customer.
6.2 If No Manufacturing Defect Is Found
If inspection determines that no manufacturing defect exists:
The Product will be returned to the customer.
All shipping costs shall remain the responsibility of the customer.
No refund will be issued.
- International Orders
For international customers:
All customs duties, import taxes, and regulatory compliance obligations are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Return shipments must comply with Malaysian import requirements.
Improper customs declaration may result in refusal, delay, or additional charges.
All international sales are final except in cases of verified manufacturing defects under this Policy.
- Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or business interruption
- Decisions made based on Product readings
- Regulatory compliance outcomes
- Environmental interpretation conclusions
The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product.
- Anti-Fraud & Abuse Protection
To protect product integrity and all customers:
Each Product is tracked by serial number.
Fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith warranty claims will be rejected.
Chargebacks initiated without following the documented warranty process may be formally contested.
The Company reserves the right to refuse future transactions from customers with documented abuse or fraud history.
- Malaysian Consumer Rights
For customers purchasing within Malaysia for personal, domestic, or household use, statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 may apply and cannot be excluded.
This Policy shall be interpreted consistently with applicable mandatory legal protections.
- Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
- Warranty Coverage Limited to Original Purchaser
This limited warranty applies only to Products:
Purchased directly from WEAREFOUND PRODUCTS SDN BHD through our official online store; or
Purchased from authorised resellers expressly recognised by the Company.
The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Products purchased from:
- Unauthorised third-party vendors
- Marketplace sellers
- Private resales
- Online auction platforms
- Grey-market distributors
are not covered under this limited warranty by the Company.
Customers who purchase from third-party vendors must seek warranty support directly from the seller from whom the Product was purchased.
Nothing in this clause excludes any statutory rights that may exist between a consumer and the party that sold the Product to them.
